Our Tomato Bowl stadium is known far and wide as one of the most unique stadiums in the state.  The iconic stadium is mentioned in sports magazines, historical articles, and travel guides.  Many of our famous Jacksonville natives routinely mention being from the "Home of the Tomato Bowl" and whether residents are a JISD alum or not, the community has deep pride in the grand old stadium that overlooks downtown Jacksonville.  These links are to various mentions through the years of our one-of-a-kind historical relic!
