Our focus on academics shows not only in our accountability ratings, but more importantly in the passion our staff has for empowering champions in and out of the classroom.  We focus on what success entails for each student, and continue to support academic excellence on every level for every student.

Our JISD staff is dedicated to maintaining a culture of family within our system.  We take pride in the support students feel from their teachers, and we thrive on the successes of students who become an integral part of this family atmosphere.  As one JHS student put it, “In Jacksonville, it is not just an 8 hour learn and leave experience”.
