Inclement Weather Contingency Plans
In case of inclement weather:
JISD first and foremost wants the Class of 2024 to have graduation in the Tomato Bowl. Contingency plans include:
1. In case of rain, we will delay graduation as long as possible to have the ceremony on Friday night in the Tomato Bowl.
2. In case of dangerous weather, including lightning or tornado warning, graduation will be moved to Saturday morning at 9:00 am. Empowerment Academy would move to 11:00 am.
3. In case of prolonged severe weather, graduation ceremonies will be moved to the John Alexander Gym. This will only be done as a last resort.
