Myth: ALC on all campuses
We have heard that the ALC program is available on all campuses this year.
JISD ANSWER: RATED FALSE!
The Applied Learning Community Program (ALC) is only offered at East Side Elementary and at Nichols Intermediate. Two classes per grade level are offered on each of those campuses. At East Side, that involves Kindergarten through 4th grade. At this time, there has not been a demand for additional ALC classes. We love our innovative programs on all of our campuses, and will continue to consider unique choices for our students and parents! Thanks for your question!
