Student Ambassador Nomination Process
Thank you for your interest in the Jacksonville ISD Student Ambassador Team. Each school year, the team is comprised of a select group of young leaders who go out into the community to speak about our district. If you would like to nominate a Jacksonville student or yourself, please use the appropriate link below to submit a nomination. The nomination process will begin on April 21, 2025 and close at midnight on April 30, 2025.
If chosen for the interview process, the student will be contacted by the end of April and interviews will begin in May on campuses.
Students are nominated from each campus by any staff member or family member or may self-nominate. After principal approval and student agreement, parents and guardians are asked to agree that the student may participate in an interview process to determine campus ambassadors. A District Committee interviews the campus candidates and selects the representatives from each campus. Two students are selected from each elementary campus: four from Nichols, four from JMS, and up to 8 from JHS.
