Military Enlistment Activities Form

A student 17 years of age or older shall be excused for up to four days during his or her enrollment in high school for activities related to pursuing enlistment in a branch or U.S. Armed Services or Texas National Guard. 

 

Students must provide documentation to the High School Attendance Office no later than two days after the first day the student returns to school by:

  1. Submitting a completed Verification of U.S. Armed Services of Texas National Guard Enlistment Activities form (Note: Campus will verify the visit unless additional documentation is attached to the form from the military branch on official letterhead.); OR
  2. Providing documentation from the military branch on official letterhead and the campus clerk will complete the Verification of U.S. Armed Services of Texas National Guard Enlistment Activities form and attach the documentation.
