Student produced video (Audio/Video Class at JHS) to thank the School Board for their dedication to JISD. Presented at the January 23, 2017 School Board meeting in honor of School Board Appreciation month.

and honor aboard appreciation month we want to thank all of our day as the board members are volunteering their time and even Jacksonville a great place to go to school thank you for members for addressing the needs of Jackson High School are campus desperately needed a new Sox winning in the labs have been great for our teachers and students the new cafeterias feta couch difference in scheduling and the expanded Office Space by the so welcoming and organized place to be thank you girl said sometimes felt slighted by things that they're given in the athletic field we've got a dance area that are girls now they've got the nicest dance room around now there's an old coach and thing that winning begets winning and when you have a practice facility a turf field like that that when you tell your kids head today we're on cook field instead of Happy automatically increases the pep in their step they're excited about going up and practice on what is now Ollie the best practice field in East Texas turned out it just raced your confidence level is as a team to know the Tay or special we've got a feel better than anybody else to practice on today and then just the traffic acility now that we've got over 100 kids every day out there practicing track working on the speed development it is all going to it sucks more championships in Jacksonville thank you board members I will never forget the look on our kids faces when they walk through the doors at the new Joe crack for the first time they were excited they were proud and they wanted to come to school so from everyone at Joe Wright Elementary thank you for your dedication the district and we know we have the best campus in Jacksonville as a lifelong resident Jacksonville Texas and a former student of Jacksonville Independent School District a teacher a parent an administrator and a Community member for all of these years we've been very fortunate to have such dedicated individuals serve on our school board always have the best interest of our community and our students at heart  there's the quote that I like that says you don't Inspire your teammates by showing them how amazing you are you inspire them by showing them how amazing they are I feel like we're who sang chain and you guys are all amazing we in the central office are so fine for board that supports every aspect of education at jisd they listen for Community input always ask great questions and they share in a V to get our facilities where they need to be for the students and staff to be successful in the 21st century our sincerest thank yous to the Jazz Depot for giving them a precious commodity their time to ensure that all children and Jacksonville receive a world-class education John Alexander Jim has become really a focal point basketball in art district is the schools that play basketball against this from East Texas when they come to John Alexander they recognize us as having one of the best basketball facilities in the district and that is such a huge step up from playing at the old gym at the High our kids are proud of where we play now we feel like we're stepping into a really special place when we do that and we're not embarrassed stay events there now anymore we have people asking us to use our facility grass schools calling one of use it for playoff games we have volleyball was calling about wanting to use it as a neutral site so it's been a real upgrade for us everything is just pointing to the sky for us right now hard part gymnasium are our overall athletic cilities have really taken a big step up Because of You Eastside students can come to school everyday and it stays secure environment thank you for all you do for our students I'll be half bottle that's why I want personally thank you for doing what you do for the students and staff jisd
