Our team consists of chief technology officer, systems administrator, network administrator, three technicians, and one help desk technician. We assist approximately 800 staff members and 4,900 students in their use of technology across 13 locations.

The JISD technology team supports approximately 2,700 computers, 132 network printers, 338 visual presenters, 418 projectors, 200 interactive pads, 277 interactive whiteboards, 120 sets of student response systems, 450 telephones, video conference equipment, and many other devices as well as various software. We also support many other network devices including security cameras and door access.

Work order information:

Currently all classrooms from Kindergarten through 8th grade have mounted projectors and document cameras. All classrooms from Kindergarten through 6th grade have an interactive board or pad. Jacksonville Middle School has various technologies based upon the instructional content area. Jacksonville High School has projectors in every classroom, interactive boards, interactive pads, student response systems and document cameras in various rooms.
