JISD Student Ambassador Team 2019-20
These twenty-three students were nominated, evaluated, and interviewed to earn a spot on the 2019-20 JISD Ambassador Team. The SAT meets monthly and represents JISD at many community events. Some past events include being the "program" for the Rotary, Kiwanis, and Lions Clubs, meeting and sharing conversation and lunch at Angelina House, touring City Hall and meeting City leaders as well as visiting JISD departments and campuses. Ambassadors are the leaders on their campuses and are often asked to give campus tours or greet visitors. We are extremely proud of this group of students and how they bring the "Classroom into the Community".
The sponsors for the Ambassador Team include JISD staff members Lynne Bullock, Chief Technology Officer, Jan Lewis, JHS Counselor, T.J. Rucker, Principal and Grace Traylor, Public Relations Director.
