Spam is unwanted, unsolicited electronic junk.

Why do I get so much more SPAM than my co-workers?

The 3 most common ways to guarantee you will get lots of SPAM are:

• Subscribe to receive newsletters, listservs, coupons, inspirational messages, jokes, recipes, etc.
  
  

• Fill out online application forms (outside of Jacksonville Independent School District) that include your email address.
  
  

• Unsubscribe to a listserv that you didn’t subscribe to.

If you participate in any one of the above 3 items, you greatly escalate your chances of receiving SPAM.
