Welcome to GradeSpeed
ParentConnection
Jacksonville ISD has implemented a new online program called ParentConnection. ParentConnection allows parents/guardians to view their child’s grades directly from the teacher’s grade book. You will only be able to view academic grades for students in 1st through 12th grade at East Side, West Side, Fred Douglass, Joe Wright, Nichols, Middle School, and High School. Pre-K and kindergarten students will not have grades in the online program.
Please remember the grades you see might not include all assignments or tests that have been completed by your child. Also, keep in mind that some assignments take longer to grade than others. Teachers will update grades on a weekly basis. If you have questions about any of these items, please contact the teacher via email or phone.
The district will not be responsible for your inability to access ParentConnection, unless the problem is with our server.
Pop-up blockers must be disabled for ParentConnection to function correctly. Web enhancements will also prevent ParentConnection from functioning correctly. Be sure you disable pop-up blockers and uninstall any web browser enhancements you may have.
Before you begin you will need your child(ren)’s student ID number. You can obtain this number from your child’s report card, in person at his or her school, or your child may know it. The campus cannot release this information over the phone.
If you are interested in acquiring online access to your child’s grades via ParentConnection click on the instructions link at the top left of this web page.
