At a special board meeting Thursday morning, Superintendent Stuart Bird announced his recommendation of Steve Wells of Mineola as the new Athletics Director/Head Football Coach for JISD. The board approved the recommendation unanimously. Welcome to Jacksonville Coach Wells; and, congratulations on being selected to head the proud Fightin' Indians athletics tradition!
