JHS Seniors Hear
Message of Hope
Baccalaureate Service, May 20, 2008

Graduation is not so much an ending as it is a beginning. Part of the JHS Class of 2008's preparation for the big day was the Annual Baccalaureate Service.

Special music for the service was performed by the Jacksonville High School Student Ensemble.
The Jacksonville Ministerial Alliance gave the special service in honor of the 2008 Senior Class.
Rev. Kevin King of First United Methodist Church offered the Baccalaureate Address to the Seniors. He encouraged them with the words of Paul the Apostle to, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
After the service family and friends were invited to stay for refreshments provided by the JHS Student Council.The 2008 Class Sponsor is Brenda Boysselle, the JHS Student Council Sponsor is Jan Lewis. Jennifer Swedoski is the National Honor Society Sponsor.

The Jacksonville High School Graduation Ceremony will be Friday, May 30, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. at the Tomato Bowl Stadium. (map).
The Compass Center Graduation Ceremony will be Friday, May 30, 2008, at 4:30 p.m. at the Nichols Intermediate School Cafeteria.
