JISD Character Education Program
Jacksonville ISD is committed to uniting the community through parents, churches, civic groups and businesses to highlight and promote character education.
A committee of these groups met for a year and developed the character traits for each month. Signs with the trait for the month can be seen in businesses, churches and classrooms.
Counselors and classroom teachers provide lessons each month with a focus on the trait of the month.
The traits are as follows:
