The Storm of 2015 - Damage to the Tomato Bowl wall

In May, 2014, a storm hit Jacksonville that caused severe damage to much of the town.  Power lines were downed, trees feel into roads, yards, houses and for 3 days the district was out of power and school was closed.  Two massive trees at the Tomato Bowl were uprooted and fell on the south front wall.

The 75 year old wall held firm and only sustained minor damage.  The tree was removed and JHS Alumni, Craig Garner and his crew patched the fence to perfection.
