Jacksonville ISD PASSPORT Gifted & Talented Program

The JISD Passport Program is intended to meet the special needs of students in kindergarten through twelfth grade who exhibit an exceptionally high general intellectual ability or who excel in any or all of the following academic areas:

Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies

Gifted and talented students are children or youth who perform at, or show the potential for performing at a remarkably high level of academic accomplishment when compared to others of the same age, experience, or environment.

In addition to added depth and complexity to the core curriculum, the Passport Program provides opportunities beyond basic coursework to broaden knowledge, skills, and experiences. It provides opportunities for the students to explore their unique potential.

Welcome to the JISD PASSPORT program!  If you ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.

Attention Transfer Students;
  Please make sure at enrollment you let the staff know or myself know,  your student has been receiving GT services in their former district.  We must do a records request before students can begin services in JISD.
(any parent may request their transfer student to be screened for GT services within the first 6 weeks in district)
