The JISD Passport Program is intended to meet the special needs of students in kindergarten through twelfth grade who exhibit an exceptionally high general intellectual ability or who excel in any or all of the following academic areas:

Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies

Gifted and talented students are children or youth who perform at, or show the potential for performing at a remarkably high level of academic accomplishment when compared to others of the same age, experience, or environment.

In addition to added depth and complexity to the core curriculum, the Passport Program provides opportunities beyond basic coursework to broaden knowledge, skills, and experiences. It provides opportunities for the students to explore their unique potential.
